First of all, we recommend you order a sample door or a cabinet to see exactly what you will be receiving. We also strongly recommend that you request our checklist for measuring your kitchen before you start. We have compiled a very comprehensive list of things to look for in the layout of your kitchen. We have not covered every situation that can be encountered but, with 42 years of cabinetry and building experience between the two compilers of this document, we may be able to help you avoid some of the more common mistakes made when ordering a kitchen. We made some of these mistakes over the years and can tell you that this guide can save you hours of headaches and thousands of dollars in the longrun. The guide is free! Just call 1-866-515-7822 or email us at ben@cabinetheadquarters.com or adam@cabinetheadquarters.net to request it.

Returned Goods Policy
We recommend you check and recheck all measurements and layouts to make sure everything will fit. You should have all cutout dimensions for all built in appliances and all physical measurements for all other appliances, before you begin your design. This will help to assure all of your appliances will fit. No returns will be accepted. Check all measurements and layouts against each other, as well as appliance dimensions to avoid costly mistakes.
Warranty Claims Policy
Final decisions made on all warranty claims shall be at the discretion of Cabinet Headquarters. All warranty claims shall be made by fax or email within 48 hours of receipt. We will credit your account unless the item is requested to be returned for warranty inspection. Replacemet items will be invoiced to the customer at our regular billing price and pay procedures, then upon inspection and if approved by our warranty policy, a credit will be issued to the customer.

Damaged Goods Policy
There is always a small chance of damage any time goods are transported. There is far less chance of our ready to assemble cabinets (RTAC's) being damaged than fully assembled cabinets being shipped on a truck. Our cabinets are palletized and wrapped to assure safe delivery. The following is a guideline that can save you time and money should you receive damaged goods.
1.) The recipient must make an inspection following our recieving policy upon delivery of cabinets. Any visible damage must be noted on the receipt for shipment. This includes even small tears or creases on the packaging. **Failure to note damages on shipping receipt at time of receipt will cause recipient to have to file and process all damage claims with the shipping courier.**
2.) All damaged goods must be reported to Cabinet Headquarters by fax 1-866-516-RTAC(7822), phone 1-866-515-RTAC(7822), or by email ben@cabinetheadquarters.net or adam@cabinetheadquarters.net within 48 hours of receipt.
3.) Try your best to determine if the damage was incurred during shipping or in the factory. Determine the extent of the damage. Let us know what kind of damage you have and we will then determine if you need the entire cabinet replaced or just replacement parts.
4.) Recipients must keep all damaged products and original shipping cartons, containers, and all related paperwork until all claims are settled.
5.) We may ask you to send the damaged products back to us at no freight cost to you. Some freight companies may ask for the damaged product if it is determined that the cabinet was damaged in shipping. The carrier will determine that.
6.) We will handle freight claims for cabinets damaged during shipping only if you follow the procedures lined above. Otherwise, you (the customer) will be responsible for all claims. Your claim will be handled on a top priority basis to get you the replacement you need as quickly as possible.

The carrier is not responsible for items once they pass the tailgate. It is the customer's responsibilty to remove the items from the truck. There are other types of delivery available such as lift-gate delivery and inside delivery. Some carriers require liftgate to residental areas with no exceptions. The customer will be responsible for any additional charges. These charges must be added to the sales order up front. The trucking company will schedule the first delivery at initial rates. Be sure you are there to accept delivery, because re-scheduled deliveries will be at the customer's expense.

Receiving
The customer must receive, inspect, and sign for all deliveries. The customer must check the packing slip against the bill of lading supplied by the driver at the time of delivery. Please note the bill of lading will indicate the number of cartons, not neccessarily the number of items. More than one item may be in a carton. Should this be the case, the carton should have a sticker or stickers on it indicating the items it inside.
